NEWS  UPDATES 

 

1.  WILLIAM WORDSWORTH COMMISSION - A new commission for the Wordsworth Museum in
    Cumbria.  Further details to follow.

 

2.  Speaker at WORDSWORTH TRUST Conference in Cumbria.  "Words on a page"    

 

3.  Exhibition 2013 - Hereford Museum and Art Gallery have confirmed their booking of the new
     collection "I am not who you think I am" for March - May 2013.

 

4.  The new collection "I am not who you think I am" will consist of 16 tactile relief work portraits,
     featuring a cross section of society.  The work is meant to be touched, and each painting will

     have its own attached audio description.

 

     I want to challenge the initial assumptions that we all make about other people, based on

     visual observations, rather than knowledge gained through verbal interaction.
 

5.  MARY ROSE COMMISSION - the limited edition £5 commemorative coin has now been issued

     and can be ordered from www.westminstercollection.com/products/details.aspx?pcd=L061 .

     The image was taken from my tactile painting of the Mary Rose ship in the Mary Rose Museum

     in Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK.

 

6.  The new build East Devon Crematorium purchased 3 paintings which are now hung in their
     waiting areas.

 

7.  Cruise talks - I have been invited, once again, to be a guest speaker on a Fred Olsen cruise, this

     time on one of their 2012 Baltic cruises.
 

8.  The Emsworth Arts Trail runs over two weekends in May.  For full details of artists exhibiting
